Omar Abduljawad (b. 1989 Jeddah Saudi Arabia) is an architect and multidisciplinary artist. Through his training in architecture he honed a mastery of form, materiality and proportion. Under the mantle of his studio ‘MUKAAB’ his art is an embodiment of his pursuit of knowledge and understanding. These works bridge disciplines such as science and theology ultimately aspiring towards an affirmation of our shared humanity and oneness. He often manipulates space and light by using sacred geometry and mathematics. For the artist the omnipresence of recurring ratios in nature and living forms lends them spiritual significance. Abduljawad hopes that his work will inspire “humanity to go together towards a universal destination of truth light and unity.”
He graduated as a RIBA Part 1 Architect from Kingston University of London and is the Co-founder of ThreePointOneFour.co (@tpof.co) founded in 2014.
Bringing many concepts to life such as ‘MEDD’ cafe, a third wave coffee shop, ‘CRATE’ a local concept store, to private offices, residential apartments and villas, and a novel mixed use development located in a vast area of northern Obhor. His projects aimed to have positive social and cultural impact on local context and hopefully beyond. Since then, Omar has delved into the world of contemporary arts, marking his presence in mega exhibitions such as 21,39 Jeddah Arts, King Abdulaziz Center for World Culture ITHRAA, King Abdullah Financial District KAFD, The Diriyah Contemporary Art Biennale and Noor Riyadh Festival.
He approaches his art with the same values he holds in all aspects of his life, to embrace the future through innovation with respect to past wisdoms and traditions. The initiation of his process to better understand the human condition stems from personal experience that expands into different fields of experimentation.
He expresses the fundamental nature of reality through research, high dimensional mathematics, sacred geometry, raw material studies, along with implementing divine proportions. He works within the gap where physics and metaphysics analytically collide, where qualitative and quantitative methods both complement his form of expression in the pursuit of truth, symbolism, and meaning in all things.

عمر عبدالجواد (من مواليد عام 1989 في جدة بالمملكة العربية السعودية) هو مهندس معماري وفنان متعدد التخصصات. بفضل تدريبه على الهندسة المعمارية؛ أتقن عناصر التكوين والمادة والنسب. من خلال استوديو 'مُكَعَّبْ'، يشكل فنه تجسيداً لسعيه نحو المعرفة والفهم. تربط هذه الأعمال التخصصات ببعضها، مثل: العلوم والتوحيد، وتطمح بنهاية المطاف إلى تأكيد إنسانيتنا المشتركة ووحدتنا. عادة ما يتلاعب بالمساحة والضوء باستخدام الهندسة والرياضيات. بالنسبة للفنان، فإن الوجود الكلي للنسب المكررة في الطبيعة والكائنات الحية يضف عليها أهمية روحية. يأمل عبدالجواد في أن يلهم عمله الإنسانية للمضي قدما نحو وجهة عالمية للحق والنور والوحدة
تخرج كمهندس معماري RIBA من جامعة كينغستون في لندن وهو المؤسس المشارك لشركة ThreePointOneFour.co التي تأسست عام 2014
جلب عمر العديد من المشاريع إلى الواقع مثل مقهى و محمصة مد، و متجر crate، بالإضافة الى عدد من المكاتب الخاصة والشقق والفلل السكنية، ومشروع ريادي متعدد الاستخدام في أبحر الشمالية. تهدف مشاريعه إلى احداث كيان اجتماعي وثقافي ايجابي محلياً ويأمل أن يكون أبعد من ذلك يوماً ما
بعد ذلك، وضع بصمته في عالم الفنون المعاصرة في معارض مهمة مثل 21،39 فن جدة ومركز الملك عبد العزيز للثقافة العالمية إثراء، مركز الملك عبد الله المالي، والنسخة الاولى من بینالي الدرعية للفن المعاصر و مهرجان نور الرياض
يتعامل عمر مع فنه بنفس القيم التي يحملها في جميع جوانب حياته، وهي احتضان المستقبل من خلال الابتكار و احترام التراث و التقاليد العريقة بجانب ذلك. ينبع عملية فهمه للتجارب الإنسانية من تجربته الشخصية التي تمتد إلى مجالات مختلفة من التعبير
يعبر عن واقع علوم الطبيعة عن طريق الرياضيات العالية الأبعاد، والهندسة ، ودراسة المواد الخام بدقة، إلى جانب تطبيق نسب الهندسة في أعماله
إنه يعمل في عالم يقع بين الفيزياء والميتافيزياء، حيث تكمل الأساليب النوعية والكمية معاً في السعي وراء الحقيقة والرمزية والمعنى في كل الأشياء من خلال التعبير عن الذات في الفن
